What's the difference between Grade A and the old Grade B maple syrup?
The old 'Grade B' was darker and more robust in flavor. The current 'Grade A: Dark Color, Robust Taste' is essentially the same product, reclassified for clarity. All pure maple syrup is now Grade A, with varying color and taste intensities.
