A fine, pale yellow powder designed as a complete soy-based infant formula, it dissolves into a smooth, creamy liquid with a mild, slightly beany taste. Nutritionally, it's fortified with iron and provides a balanced profile of plant-based protein, fats, and carbohydrates to support growth. It's a specialized nutritional foundation, not a general food.

↓ Full nutritionParents value it as a reliable, hypoallergenic option that provides complete nutrition when breastfeeding isn't possible or cow's milk formula isn't tolerated. Its consistency and fortified nutrient profile offer peace of mind for infant feeding.
As a formula, it's not suitable for general consumption and can cause digestive upset (gas, fussiness) in some infants during the adjustment period. Soy-based formulas contain phytoestrogens, which some parents have concerns about. **Tip:** Always follow preparation instructions precisely and consult a pediatrician before use.
Soy-based infant formulas were developed in the 1960s as a primary alternative for infants with confirmed cow's milk protein allergy or galactosemia.

Is this the same as soy milk powder for adults?
No. Infant formula is a highly regulated, complete nutritional product with specific ratios of protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals tailored for infant growth. Adult soy milk powder is a beverage base and is not nutritionally complete for infants.
Why does it have iron?
Iron is crucial for brain development and preventing iron-deficiency anemia. Infants are born with limited iron stores, and breast milk is low in iron, so formulas are fortified to meet their daily needs.
Can I use this to make tofu or soy milk?
Absolutely not. This is a processed, fortified nutritional product for infants. It contains added sugars, oils, and vitamins that would be inappropriate and unsafe for making other soy foods.
NRF9.3 index — Fulgoni, Keast & Drewnowski, 2009. Computed from USDA nutrients.
Composite of energy density (Rolls et al., 1999), protein & fiber satiety, minus sugar. A calculated heuristic — ranks satiety-per-calorie, not a clinical measure.
Sodium-to-potassium ratio: 0.31 (lower is better — aim for ≤ 1)
Sodium:potassium per WHO potassium guidance. Computed from USDA nutrients.
