Ingredients
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
1 cup warm water (110°F)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
1/2 cup diced ham
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped red onion
Instructions
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water; let stand 5 minutes until foamy.
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil; mix until dough forms.
Knead dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled.
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Punch down dough and press into a greased 12-inch pizza pan, forming a thick crust with raised edges.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
Top with pepperoni, sausage, ham, olives, mushrooms, bell pepper, and red onion.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly. Let cool 5 minutes before slicing.
Tips
For a crispier crust, pre-bake the crust for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free area for best results.
Leftover pizza can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
