Ingredients
2 slices sourdough or white bread
2 tablespoons butter, softened
3 ounces sliced roasted turkey
1/4 cup leftover stuffing
2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
2 tablespoons gravy
1 slice cheddar or provolone cheese (optional)
Instructions
Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
Place bread butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat. Layer turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and cheese (if using) on one slice. Drizzle gravy over the turkey.
Top with the other bread slice, butter-side up. Cook until golden brown on the bottom, about 2-3 minutes.
Carefully flip the sandwich and cook until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes more.
Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, then slice in half and serve.
Tips
For extra flavor, use leftover roasted vegetables or a smear of mayonnaise.
If you don't have a skillet, you can toast the sandwich in a panini press or oven.
