2 cups water
3 bags black tea (or 2 tablespoons loose leaf)
1/3 cup honey or sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Optional: fresh mint leaves or lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from heat, add tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags (or strain loose leaves).
Stir in honey or sugar until dissolved. Add lemon juice and let cool to room temperature.
Pour the tea mixture into popsicle molds, filling each about 3/4 full. If desired, add a mint leaf or lemon slice to each mold.
Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
To unmold, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds until popsicles release easily.
Tips
For a stronger tea flavor, steep 4 tea bags or use a stronger tea like Earl Grey.
Try using herbal teas like hibiscus or chamomile for different flavors.
Store popsicles in a freezer bag for up to 2 weeks.
