Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned and onion is translucent. Drain excess fat.
Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, frozen vegetables, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until tater tots are golden brown and casserole is bubbly.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
