- 8 taco shells (hard or soft)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in taco seasoning and water; bring to a simmer. Cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Warm taco shells according to package directions.
- Fill each shell with beef mixture, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
