Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
2 cups seasoned stuffing mix (such as Stove Top)
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place in the prepared baking dish.
In a medium bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth. Stir in shredded Swiss cheese.
Pour the soup mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
In a separate bowl, combine stuffing mix and melted butter; toss to coat. Sprinkle the stuffing mixture over the chicken and sauce.
Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F) and the topping is golden brown.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Tips
For extra flavor, add a tablespoon of Dijon mustard to the sauce.
Serve with steamed vegetables or a side salad to balance the richness.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
