  2. Season ribs with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large oven-safe pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear ribs in batches until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, whisk together lingonberry jam, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and water. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Return ribs to the pot, turning to coat with sauce. Cover and transfer to the oven. Braise for 1.5 hours, or until meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.
  5. Remove ribs from pot and keep warm. Skim fat from sauce and simmer on stovetop over medium heat until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  6. Brush sauce over ribs or serve on the side.
