Ingredients
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
4 cups cold water
ice cubes
lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool.
In a large pitcher, combine the cooled simple syrup and lemon juice. Stir well.
Add the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice if desired.
Refrigerate until chilled, at least 30 minutes.
Serve over ice with lemon slices.
