Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
8 slider buns
4 slices cheddar cheese, halved
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp yellow mustard
4 lettuce leaves, halved
8 thin tomato slices
8 pickle slices
Instructions
In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently and form into 8 small patties, about 1/4 inch thick.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through. In the last minute, top each patty with a half slice of cheese and cover to melt.
While patties cook, mix ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard in a small bowl to make the sauce.
Toast the slider buns in the skillet or on the griddle until lightly golden.
Assemble sliders: spread sauce on both halves of each bun. Place a lettuce half, tomato slice, pickle slice, and cheese-topped patty on the bottom bun. Cover with top bun.
Tips
For juicier patties, make a small indentation in the center of each patty before cooking.
Serve with extra sauce on the side for dipping.
Can be made ahead and reheated in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes.
