- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 4 ounces dark chocolate (70% cacao), finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine milk and heavy cream. Heat over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling.
- Add chopped chocolate, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk constantly until chocolate is fully melted and mixture is smooth.
- Reduce heat to low and continue whisking for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened and frothy.
- Remove from heat. Pour into mugs and serve immediately.
