Ingredients
4 turkey legs (about 1.5 lbs each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat turkey legs dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, and paprika.
Rub turkey legs with olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over all sides.
Place turkey legs in a roasting pan or on a baking sheet lined with foil. Pour chicken broth into the pan (not over the legs).
Roast for 50-60 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 175°F (80°C) when inserted into the thickest part of the leg, basting with pan juices every 20 minutes.
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Tips
For extra crispy skin, broil on high for the last 2-3 minutes.
Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
Leftover turkey legs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
