Ingredients
1 pre-made pizza dough (about 1 lb)
1 cup pulled pork, cooked and shredded
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet inside for at least 30 minutes.
On a floured surface, stretch or roll pizza dough into a 12-inch round. Transfer to a piece of parchment paper.
In a small bowl, toss pulled pork with 1/4 cup barbecue sauce until well coated.
Spread remaining 1/4 cup barbecue sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over sauce.
Distribute pulled pork evenly over cheese, then top with red onion slices. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Slide pizza (with parchment) onto preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Remove from oven, let cool for 2 minutes, then sprinkle with cilantro. Slice and serve.
Tips
For extra smoky flavor, use smoked mozzarella or add a pinch of smoked paprika to the pulled pork.
If using leftover pulled pork, reheat it gently in the microwave or skillet before assembling.
Serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side for dipping.
