- 1/4 cup finely chopped Maui or sweet onion
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 2 cups cooked sushi rice (for serving)
- Optional toppings: avocado, cucumber, seaweed salad, edamame
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and sriracha (if using).
- Add the cubed tuna, green onions, sweet onion, sesame seeds, and salt. Gently toss to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve over sushi rice and add desired toppings.
