Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough, at room temperature
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups fresh arugula
4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Cornmeal for dusting
Instructions
Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet inside for at least 30 minutes.
Divide dough into 2 balls. On a floured surface, stretch each into a 12-inch round.
Dust a pizza peel or parchment paper with cornmeal. Place one dough round on it.
Spread half the tomato sauce over dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle with half the mozzarella.
Slide pizza onto preheated stone. Bake 10-12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese bubbly.
Remove from oven. Immediately top with half the arugula, half the prosciutto, and half the Parmesan. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Repeat with remaining dough and toppings for second pizza.
Slice and serve immediately.
Tips
For extra crispiness, par-bake the crust for 5 minutes before adding toppings.
If you don't have a pizza stone, use a preheated baking sheet.
Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
