Ingredients
1 lb pizza dough, at room temperature
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (optional)
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil (optional)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12x8-inch rectangle.
Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the sauce. Add pepperoni and basil if using.
Starting from a long edge, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
Cut the log into 4 equal pieces. Place each piece cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and oregano.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown and cheese is bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
