Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough, at room temperature
2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for drizzling
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Flour for dusting
Instructions
Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet inside for at least 30 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, and rosemary; set aside.
On a floured surface, stretch or roll each dough half into a 12-inch round. Transfer to a floured pizza peel or parchment paper.
Brush each dough with the garlic-rosemary oil, leaving a 1-inch border. Season with salt and pepper.
Arrange mozzarella slices evenly over the oil. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Slide pizza onto preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Remove from oven, drizzle with a little olive oil, and let cool for 2 minutes before slicing.
Tips
For a crispier crust, preheat your baking surface for at least 30 minutes.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Serve immediately; leftover pizza can be reheated in a skillet or oven.
