Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough, at room temperature
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet inside.
Stretch pizza dough into a 12-inch round on a floured surface. Transfer to a floured pizza peel or parchment paper.
Season sliced beef with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear beef in batches until browned but not fully cooked; set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-high. Add butter, then sauté bell pepper and onion until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Sprinkle flour over vegetables, stir, then add beef broth. Cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Spread the vegetable mixture over the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Top with seared beef, then sprinkle provolone and mozzarella cheeses evenly.
Slide pizza onto preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly, 12-15 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before slicing.
Tips
For easier slicing, freeze the ribeye for 30 minutes before cutting.
Use a pizza stone for a crispier crust; if unavailable, use a preheated baking sheet.
Leftover pizza can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in a 350°F oven.
