Ingredients
- 1 pound pizza dough, at room temperature
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 12 cubes
- 4 ounces sliced pepperoni, each slice cut in half
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Flatten each piece into a 4-inch circle.
- Place 2 to 3 pepperoni halves and one mozzarella cube in the center of each dough circle.
- Pull up edges of dough and pinch to seal, forming a ball. Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, and oregano. Brush mixture over each roll.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving with marinara sauce.
Tips
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the oil mixture.
- Leftover rolls can be reheated in a 350°F oven for 5-7 minutes.
- Serve with ranch dressing or blue cheese dip as an alternative.
