Ingredients
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup coconut milk
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon sriracha or chili paste
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons water (as needed)
Instructions
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, sriracha, garlic, and ginger.
Whisk continuously until smooth and heated through, about 3-5 minutes. If sauce is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Tips
For a smoother sauce, use natural peanut butter and stir well.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Reheat gently before serving.
Add more sriracha for extra heat or a splash of fish sauce for depth.
