1 cup raw pecans
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together maple syrup, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
Add almonds, cashews, and pecans to the bowl. Toss until nuts are evenly coated.
Spread nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until nuts are golden and fragrant.
Let cool completely on the baking sheet (nuts will crisp as they cool). Break apart any clusters.
Transfer to an airtight container. Store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Tips
Feel free to substitute walnuts or peanuts for any of the nuts.
For extra heat, increase cayenne to 1/2 teaspoon.
Double the recipe for a larger batch; use two baking sheets and rotate halfway.
