Ingredients
2 slices of crusty bread (such as a baguette or rustic white bread)
2 tablespoons Nocilla or other chocolate-hazelnut spread
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened (optional)
Instructions
If using butter, spread a thin layer on the outside of each bread slice for a crispier texture (optional).
Spread Nocilla evenly on one side of each bread slice.
Press the slices together, Nocilla sides facing inward, to form a sandwich.
Serve immediately, or toast in a pan or sandwich press for 2-3 minutes until golden and warm.
Tips
For extra flavor, add sliced banana or strawberries inside the sandwich.
If you can't find Nocilla, Nutella is a perfect substitute.
To make it more indulgent, use brioche or challah bread.
