Ingredients
2 cups puffed rice (muri)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber
1/4 cup boiled and cubed potato
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon tamarind paste
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon mustard oil (optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine puffed rice, onion, tomato, cucumber, potato, and cilantro.
In a small bowl, mix tamarind paste with 2 tablespoons water to make a thin paste.
Add the tamarind paste, cumin powder, chili powder, chaat masala, and salt to the puffed rice mixture. Toss well to combine.
If using, drizzle mustard oil over the mixture and toss again.
Serve immediately, garnished with extra cilantro if desired.
