Ingredients
1 packet strawberry jelly (gelatin dessert mix)
1 cup canned peach slices, drained and chopped
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
4 scoops strawberry ice cream
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons chocolate sauce
4 tablespoons chopped nuts (e.g., almonds or hazelnuts)
4 maraschino cherries with stems
Instructions
Prepare the strawberry jelly according to package directions, but use only half the water (or as directed for a firmer set). Pour into a shallow dish and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours. Once set, cut into small cubes.
In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Set aside.
Take 4 tall sundae glasses. In each glass, layer a spoonful of chopped peaches and sliced strawberries at the bottom.
Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the fruit.
Add a layer of jelly cubes.
Add a scoop of strawberry ice cream.
Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts and top with a maraschino cherry.
Serve immediately.
