Ingredients
4 fresh Polish sausages (kiełbasa), such as kabanosy or wiejska
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for grill grates)
4 crusty rolls (optional)
Mustard (yellow or Polish), for serving
Instructions
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F).
Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
Place sausages on the grill, perpendicular to the grates.
Grill for 12-15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes, until evenly browned and cooked through (internal temperature 160°F).
If using rolls, split and toast them on the grill for the last 2 minutes.
Serve sausages on rolls with mustard.
Tips
For extra flavor, brush sausages with beer or apple cider vinegar while grilling.
Let sausages rest for 2 minutes before serving to retain juices.
