Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 6 black tea bags (or 2 tablespoons loose leaf black tea)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 lemon, sliced (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags (or strain loose tea) and stir in sugar until dissolved.
- Add remaining 4 cups of cold water to the tea concentrate. Stir well.
- Refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.
- Serve over ice with lemon slices if desired.

- For a stronger tea, use more tea bags or steep longer.
