Ingredients
4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
2 green onions, sliced (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush generously with the honey glaze.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. For extra glaze, brush with remaining glaze halfway through cooking.
Optional: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Tips
Use a meat thermometer to check doneness: 145°F (63°C) at the thickest part.
Let salmon rest for 2 minutes after baking to allow glaze to set.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
