Ingredients
1 cup whole milk

1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons chopped dark chocolate (or semi-sweet chocolate chips)
Instructions
In a small saucepan, whisk together the milk, cocoa powder, and sugar until smooth.
Place over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer, whisking occasionally, until hot and the cocoa and sugar are fully dissolved.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and chopped chocolate until melted and smooth.
