Ingredients
1/2 cup fruit juice (e.g., apple, grape, or orange)
2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
Pour the fruit juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the juice and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
Add honey and lemon juice to the saucepan. Warm the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth (about 3-5 minutes). Do not boil.
Remove from heat and let cool for 1-2 minutes. Using a dropper or a small pitcher, carefully fill gummy bear molds with the liquid.
Refrigerate the molds for at least 20 minutes, or until the gummies are set and firm.
Gently pop the gummy bears out of the molds. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Tips
For a firmer texture, increase gelatin to 3 tablespoons.
Store gummy bears in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
