Ingredients
4 salmon steaks (about 6 oz each)
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, salt, and pepper.
Place salmon steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F). Lightly oil the grates.
Grill salmon steaks for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.
Remove from grill and let rest for 2 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
Tips
For best results, let the salmon come to room temperature before grilling.
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
Leftover grilled salmon can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and used in salads or sandwiches.
