Ingredients
4 ripe but firm peaches
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
Preheat an outdoor grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
Cut peaches in half and remove the pits. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
Brush the cut side of each peach half with the butter mixture.
Place peaches cut side down on the grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes until grill marks appear and peaches are slightly softened.
Flip peaches and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until tender and caramelized.
Remove from grill and serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
Tips
Use peaches that are ripe but still firm to prevent them from becoming too mushy on the grill.
Brush the cut sides with the butter mixture just before grilling to prevent sticking.
Can also be grilled on a stovetop grill pan if an outdoor grill is not available.
