Ingredients
4 (6-ounce) Chinook salmon steaks, about 1 inch thick
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, dill, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Place salmon steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
Remove salmon from marinade and let excess drip off. Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until fish flakes easily with a fork and internal temperature reaches 145°F.
Transfer to a platter and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Tips
Serve with lemon wedges and a side of grilled vegetables or rice.
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
