Ingredients
2 cups water
4 green tea bags (or 2 tablespoons loose leaf green tea)
1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
Instructions
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
Remove from heat and add the green tea bags (or loose tea in a tea infuser). Steep for 3 minutes, then remove tea bags or strain out leaves.
Stir in honey or agave syrup until fully dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature.
Add lemon juice and lemon zest (if using) and stir to combine.
Transfer to a glass bottle or jar and refrigerate until chilled, at least 1 hour.
To serve, mix 1 part concentrate with 2 parts cold water or club soda, and add your choice of spirit (e.g., 1.5 oz vodka or gin) over ice. Garnish with a lemon slice or mint sprig.
Tips
Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
For a stronger tea flavor, steep for up to 5 minutes.
