- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk, chilled

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve the gelatin in boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.
- Add cold water and stir. Refrigerate until the mixture is syrupy and slightly thickened, about 30 minutes.
- In a separate chilled bowl, beat the evaporated milk with an electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form.
