- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon gelatin powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- In a saucepan, combine fruit puree, lemon juice, and honey. Heat over medium-low until warm, stirring occasionally.
- Add bloomed gelatin to the warm fruit mixture and stir until completely dissolved. Do not boil.
- Pour the mixture into a small square baking dish (8x8 inch) lined with parchment paper. Smooth the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
- Once set, lift the chew out using the parchment and cut into small squares or shapes.
- Roll each piece in granulated sugar to coat. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
