  3. Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Dredge oysters in cornmeal mixture, shaking off excess.
  5. Fry oysters in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Spread remoulade sauce on both cut sides of each roll.
  7. Layer lettuce, tomato slices, fried oysters, and pickles on the bottom half of each roll.
  8. Close sandwiches and serve immediately.
