Ingredients
1 pound pizza dough, at room temperature
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet inside for at least 30 minutes.
On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll pizza dough into a 12-inch round. Transfer to a floured pizza peel or parchment paper.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
Sprinkle mozzarella and provolone cheeses over sauce. Dot with ricotta in small spoonfuls. Sprinkle Parmesan on top. Drizzle with olive oil and oregano.
Carefully slide pizza onto preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly, 12-15 minutes.
Let cool for 2 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil if desired. Slice and serve.
Tips
For a crispier crust, par-bake the dough for 3 minutes before adding toppings.
Use fresh mozzarella for a creamier texture, but pat dry to avoid sogginess.
Store leftover pizza in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in a hot oven or skillet.
