Ingredients
2 rashers back bacon
2 pork sausages
1 large egg
1/2 cup baked beans (canned)
1 tomato, halved
4-5 mushrooms, halved
1 slice thick bread, for toast
1 tbsp butter
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Place bacon and sausages on a baking tray and cook for 10 minutes, turning halfway.
While meat cooks, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a drizzle of oil and fry mushrooms and tomato halves, cut side down, until golden, about 3-4 minutes. Set aside.
In a small saucepan, heat baked beans over low heat.
In the same skillet, fry the egg sunny-side up or to your liking, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Toast the bread and butter it.
Arrange everything on a plate: sausages, bacon, egg, beans, mushrooms, tomato, and toast. Serve immediately.
Tips
For a traditional touch, add black pudding or hash browns.
Serve with ketchup or HP sauce.
Keep components warm in a low oven while preparing the egg.
