Ingredients
1 ½ cups (150g) finely crushed salted crackers (like Ritz or saltines)
¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, combine crushed crackers and sugar. Pour melted butter over mixture and stir with a fork until all crumbs are moistened.
Transfer mixture to a 9-inch springform pan or pie plate. Press firmly and evenly into the bottom and up the sides (if desired) using the bottom of a measuring cup or glass.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden and set. Let cool completely on a wire rack before filling.
Tips
For a no-bake version, chill the crust for at least 30 minutes instead of baking.
Use food processor to crush crackers into fine crumbs.
Store leftover crust (unfilled) in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
