Ingredients
2 cups cold whole milk
1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (14.3 oz) package chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix until thickened, about 2 minutes. Fold in half of the whipped topping.
Crush the cookies into coarse pieces (some small, some larger). Reserve 1/4 cup for garnish.
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer 1/3 of the crushed cookies, then 1/3 of the pudding mixture, then 1/3 of the strawberries and blueberries. Repeat layers twice more.
Top with the whipped cream and sprinkle reserved cookie crumbs. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Tips
For best texture, assemble the trifle at least 4 hours ahead or overnight.
Substitute any berries or fruits you like.
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
