Ingredients
2 cups strong brewed black coffee
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (about 1 packet)
2 tablespoons cold water
Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving
Sweetened condensed milk or simple syrup for serving
Instructions
In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let stand for 5 minutes to bloom.
In a saucepan, combine coffee and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Do not boil.
Remove from heat and add bloomed gelatin, stirring until completely dissolved.
Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or individual serving cups. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours until set.
To serve, cut jelly into cubes if using a dish, or serve directly in cups. Top with whipped cream or ice cream and drizzle with sweetened condensed milk or syrup.
