Ingredients
1/3 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whisk together orange juice, lemon juice, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, honey, salt, pepper, oregano, and cumin until well combined.
Place chicken pieces in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more intense flavor.
Remove chicken from marinade and discard excess marinade. Cook chicken as desired (grill, bake, or pan-sear).
Tips
For best results, marinate chicken for 2-4 hours.
This marinade works well with boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs.
Reserve a small amount of marinade before adding raw chicken to use as a basting sauce during cooking, but do not reuse marinade that has touched raw chicken.
