Ingredients
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 12 full sheets)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar.
Pour melted butter over the crumb mixture and stir with a fork until all crumbs are evenly moistened.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan. Use the bottom of a measuring cup to pack it tightly.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until fragrant and lightly golden. Cool completely before filling.
Tips
For a thicker crust, use a 9-inch pie plate instead of a springform pan.
Store leftover crust in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Substitute chocolate wafer cookies or shortbread cookies for a different flavor.
