1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
To assemble the topping, spread the sauce mixture over the cooked burger patties, then top with caramelized onions and a slice of cheddar cheese if desired.
Alternatively, serve the sauce and onions on the side for guests to add themselves.
Tips
For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the caramelized onions.
Store leftover topping in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
