Ingredients
1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
12 slider buns
6 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
3 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp yellow mustard
12 dill pickle slices
1 small onion, thinly sliced (optional)
12 small lettuce leaves (optional)
Instructions
In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently and divide into 12 equal portions. Shape each into a thin patty, slightly larger than the buns.
Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through. In the last minute, top each patty with a half slice of cheese and cover to melt.
While patties cook, split slider buns and toast them on the griddle or in a toaster until lightly golden.
Assemble sliders: spread ketchup and mustard on bottom buns. Place a cheese-topped patty, then a pickle slice, onion slice (if using), and lettuce (if using). Cover with top buns.
Serve immediately.
Tips
For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
Keep sliders warm in a low oven (200°F) if serving later.
Customize with bacon, jalapeños, or your favorite toppings.
