Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 8 slider buns
- 4 slices American cheese, cut in half
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 4 pickle slices, halved
- 4 small lettuce leaves, torn to fit
- 4 thin slices tomato, halved
- 4 thin slices red onion, halved
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently and form into 8 small patties, about 2 inches wide.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3 minutes per side for medium doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a half slice of cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
- Toast slider buns in the pan or under the broiler until lightly golden.
- Assemble sliders: spread ketchup and mustard on bottom buns, add lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and cheeseburger patty. Top with bun tops.
- Serve immediately.
