- 4 whole wheat chapatis or tortillas

- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup yogurt, whisked
- 2 tablespoons mint chutney
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
Instructions
- If using chicken: boil chicken with salt until cooked, shred. If using paneer: cut into thin strips.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Add paneer or shredded chicken. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently. Remove from heat.
- Warm chapatis on a tawa or skillet for about 30 seconds each side.
- Spread a thin layer of yogurt and mint chutney on each chapati.
- Place a handful of lettuce or cabbage on the chapati, then top with the paneer/chicken mixture.
- Roll the chapati tightly, tucking in the sides as you go. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Serve immediately or wrap in foil for later.
