Ingredients
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
Spread the mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from oven and let cool completely. The topping will continue to crisp as it cools.
Sprinkle over casserole before serving, or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
