Ingredients
- 2 lbs flank or skirt steak
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, cilantro, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- Place the steak in a large resealable bag or dish, pour the marinade over it, and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.
- Preheat grill to high heat (about 450-500°F).
- Remove steak from marinade and let excess drip off. Grill for 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
- Serve immediately with warm tortillas, salsa, guacamole, and lime wedges.
Tips
- For best flavor, marinate overnight.
- Slice against the grain for tenderness.
- Leftovers can be used in tacos, burritos, or salads.
